Malignant Hydras are a common Major variant of the Vex Hydra. In the Sol Collective, they are identified by their oxidized white chassis. They appear on many occasions, from seasonal activities to Patrol explorations, as powerful foes for the Guardians to deal with. Notably, they appear as High-Value Targets on Neptune. They have no special gameplay mechanics over regular Hydras, but they are highly resilient and aggressive, so it is advised to use heavy firepower to bring them down.
