Prime Servitors are a focus of worship and logistical activity within a Fallen House. They serve as part of House leadership alongside an Archon and a Kell. They are bigger than normal Servitors.[1]
Overview
Prime Servitors are viewed as gods within their respective Houses, due to the life sustaining Ether they produce.[2] While they were once seen as beacons of hope for the Fallen people in the wake of the Whirlwind, they are now tools of control used by Kells.[3] Servitors within each House are attached to their Prime, and possess unique programming from other Servitors connected to different Primes.[4]
Prime Servitors exist in an unclear symbiosis with Fallen Archons, who act as their caretakers and protectors.[5] It is thought that Prime Servitors may play a key role in Fallen star flight.[6] In some instances, a Prime can act as the leader of a House in the stead of a Kell, however they depend on their Archons to protect them, and their ability to lead is weak.[7][8]

Trivia
- All Prime Servitors have their own line of High Servitors named after them, for example, Sepiks Prime has Sepiks-23, Kaliks Prime has Kaliks-4, Kaliks-12 and Kaliks Minor, Simiks Prime has Simiks-3, and Orbiks Prime has Mecher Orbiks-11.
- Fallen Ketches are named after a Fallen House's Prime Servitor and require a Pilot Servitor to navigate for them. For example Wintership Simiks-Fel for Simiks Prime, Wolfship Kaliks-Syn for Kaliks Prime and Wolfship Orbiks-Fel to Orbiks Prime.
- Due to this, Splicership Menkis-Syn could make reference to an unknown Prime, possibly called "Menkis Prime".
- Insurrection Prime is the first Prime Servitor to not directly combat the Guardians itself, instead opting to use a massive war machine.
- Most Primes in Destiny have their black shell area on their central eye and back area missing, it is unknown why though.
