Scanner Splicers are Fallen Vandal Splicers of the House of Salvation that have been augmented with Scanner technology stolen from the Clovis Bray corporation. They appear throughout the Operation: Seraph's Shield Exotic Mission, both inside the Launch Center and on board Seraph Station.[1]
Gameplay
Scanner Splicers are Elite-tier enemies encounter during Operation: Seraph's Shield, protected by other Fallen. They function identically to the Hacker Vandals in the Deep Stone Crypt Raid: when killed, they will drop Scanner Augments, which are vital to progression. These will mark consoles and other devices in your vicinity that have been tampered with by the Fallen, highlighting them in yellow, and allow you to hack into them and allowing you to move forward.
