Interceptor Pilots are unique Psions tasked with riding Interceptors.[1]
Gameplay
Interceptor Pilots are almost exclusively encountered aboard an Interceptor. They keep away from the enemy and bombard them with the vehicle's cannons. They are slippery, and rather quick to reposition after noticing a foe flanking them. The height and width of the vehicle protects them from ground level headshots, and guardians will need to jump or otherwise reach higher ground to shoot them effectively. Also, they will usually die in the destruction of their vehicle.
They become much more dangeous in high level activities, where they gain Void Absorption Shields that also protect their Interceptor. If the Match Game modifier is also active, it can make taking them down exponentially harder then normal.[2]
