"You are a Minotaur. A walking foundry. Your first purpose is to think about construction — folding space and time into the design. Your second purpose is to eliminate threats to the design. [...] Subsume yourself into the greatest design. Your physical unpredictability will be enhanced by stealth. Accept the changing blade."
Grimoire description

The Taken Minotaur is a type of Taken Vex.

Gameplay

Taken Minotaurs have shed their Void shielding, and gained the ability to become invisible. They remain invisible most of the time, even when opening fire or attacking in melee. They usually stay silent, and only a faint sheen can distinguish them from their surroundings. This allows them to easily surprise enemies with their powerful Solar Torch Hammers, though rarely they use Void Slap Rifles instead. They can teleport short distances, though they don't go on the rampaging charges their basic counterparts are famous for. Their invisibility can be broken by stunning them with heavy fire, or by using Suppression effects. Their weak spot has moved to the head like most enemies, and unlike their Destiny counterpart which had no weak spots, though it is small and can be difficult to hit while they are invisible. A Taken Goblins barrier ability can also reveal their outline.
