I watched some videos on the Oryx fight and even did some messing around myself in preparation for King's Fall's return and found out some odd behavior of this guy.

The Vessel of Oryx appears from a [[Tomb Ship]] that spawns after the brand is obtained. The Vessel must be killed to acquire the "Aura of Immortality" buff during the final confrontation with [[Oryx, the Taken King]] at [[Threshold]]. To acquire this you must steal it from the Vessel, however, the Vessel is immune to damage until the runner can grab an orb that spawns after Oryx slams a plate. Grab it, then do some platforming to power it, get to the Vessel, and steal it's Aura. Then he can be killed. | |||
