Director Canterbury was a high-ranking official in the North American Empire's space program.
Biography[edit]
During a event at Canterbury's central command building, Canterbury called an emergency meeting with several other individuals including General Fiedler, Commander Jacob Hardy, and theoretical physicist Evie Calumet. As they gathered in a boardroom, Hardy noted that Canterbury's wife was still giving a toast, but the director quickly noted he was aware and thanked them all for breaking away from the party. After introductions, Canterbury instructed Evie to begin her presentation on what she had discovered: a spherical traveling object that had suddenly appeared in the orbit of Jupiter. As the shocked group processed this information, Fiedler questioned if they had any idea what its capabilities were. Canterbury informed him that they had no idea and noted that it could simply be some kind of roving satellite or something far worse.[1]
