Ceres was a dwarf planet and the largest object in the asteroid belt. During the Golden Age, a small space station was built in Ceres' orbit.[1] Sometime after the Collapse, the dwarf planet was claimed by the Fallen House of Wolves and excavated to accommodate shipyards and habitats. When the Wolves regrouped at Ceres while en route to Earth from the Jovians, the Awoken of the Reef challenged them to battle.[2] In what became known as the Scatter, Queen Mara Sov deployed weapons called Harbingers that wiped out half of the Wolves, including their Kell, and destroyed Ceres itself.[3]
