The Cabal Headhunter is a weapon commonly used by Psions of the Red Legion. It is a powerful long-range sniper rifle that projects a distinct red aiming laser. Its projectiles have a noticeable travel time, and can be dodged.

Trivia

• These sniper rifles are similar to the Line Rifles used by the Vex.
• A wieldable version of this sniper rifle is available as a Legendary weapon named Trophy Hunter.
• In the exception of Bracus Zahn, the Outlawed Sniper, the Infinite Forest Trio, and some Beast Handlers, Cabal Headhunters are exclusively used by Red Legion Psions.
  • Zahn's Headhunter is also physically larger, deals more damage, and uses a green laser that shifts to red as he prepares to fire, giving Guardians more time to evade or seek cover.
