Atraks-1, Fallen Exo (formerly known as Atraks, the Wildcard) is a Fallen commander from the House of Salvation and a Baron of an inner council of the most trusted lieutenants for Eramis, Kell of Darkness.
She was then sent by Eramis to secure the Deep Stone Crypt, and uploaded her consciousness into an Eliksni-based Exomind; duplicated into mulitple Replication copies of the same body.
Biography
- "I am Atraks, the Wildcard, and I have been charged by my Kell to speak to the youth of the Eliksni. Those who, like me, have never known a life that wasn't wandering. Who have no memories of Riis, only tales of glorious cities under glowing green skies passed down from our elders."
- — Atraks
Atraks is the youngest of Eramis' Dark Council of Barons, having grown up regaled with stories of the House of Devils and their glory days.[2] Like many Eliksni, she was born after the Whirlwind, and has no memories of life on Riis. Because of this, she was charged by her Kell to speak to the youth of the Eliksni, encouraging them to rally with the House of Salvation alongside their newfound power gained from the Darkness.[3]
Beyond Light
Atraks is first seen in the following cutscene after completeing the mission The Glassway, standing next to Eramis. After killing Praksis, the Technocrat, Atraks is seen next to Kridis, the Priestess and was ordered by Eramis to "return to the crypt and prepare the body", meaning that the House of Salvation had found a way into the legendary Deep Stone Crypt.
Deep Stone Crypt
Within the Deep Stone Crypt, the Guardians discovered that Atraks had uploaded a digitized version of herself into a modified Exo frame, modeled after her previous Eliksni form. Her Exo counterpart had also copied itself into multiple identical bodies before killing the original in a bout of insanity.
Now known as Atraks-1, the Fallen Exo would unleash the newly-rebuilt Taniks, the Scarred from his hiberation just as a fireteam of Guardians arrived at Clarity Control to halt the Fallen's operations at the Crypt. As Taniks escaped to the Morning Star, Atraks-1 and her copies engaged the Guardian fireteam both from within and beyond the Crypt. She was ultimately defeated as her Replication copies were reduced into nanites and ejected into space.
Personality and Traits
Atraks is very determined and whole-heartedly believes in Eramis' cause. She's a woman of few words but great actions that rally the Fallen of the House of Salvation under her cause. Her mind is also nothing to ignore. With her intelligence she was able finish Praksis' research into reviving Taniks, the Scarred with Bray technology and even turning Fallen into Exos, herself being the first.
Before the raid into the Deep Stone Crypt, Atraks-1 had apparently suffered from symptoms of Dissociative Exomind Rejection typical of proto-Exos, which her cognitive mind had fragmented and degenerated to the point of insanity that drove her to murder the original Atraks, whom was labeled an imposter by her Exo counterpart.
