The Last City is the final bastion of Humanity. It is located directly under the floating Traveler.[1] It is likely the city has a large civilian population, as it appears to be the last human city left in existence. It is also likely that the city contains the headquarters of the Guardians. As well, The Tower is located in the city as well.
