The War Mech are a unique class of war machines used by the Fallen. It was first introduced in the Season of the Forge, through the debut of Insurrection Prime, the Prime Servitor of The Kell's Scourge Syndicate, who uses a Massive war-mech to break into the Black Armory on Earth. They are now currently in-use by the Europan Fallen, Loyal to Eramis, the Shipstealer. However, it is unknown if they still being piloted by Servitors, or is being used by other Fallen combatants.
History
Origin
At some point, the Kell's Scourge stole technology from the Black Armory forge on Nessus and integrated it with their own technology by repurposing a Prime Servitor to create the war machine Insurrection Prime.
Assault of the City
The Kell Scourge later used Insurrection Prime to breach various Black Armory vaults and succeeded in stealing technology and weapons, helping outfit Kell's Scourge militants to have superior combat capabilities. After losing the Gofannon Forge on Nessus to the Guardians, the Kell's Scourge launched an invasion against the Last City using Insurrection Prime's mech to breach their defenses and occupied a desolate section of the city, with the intent of plundering the vault within. In response, the Vanguard dispatched a fireteam to raid the Scourge's territory and destroy the war machine.
Beyond Light
Following a few years since Insurrection Prime's appearance and rampage, new variants of War Mech appear under the banner of Eramis, the newly proclaimed Kell of Darkness.
