- — In-game description
The Doctor Nope is a legendary auto rifle.[1] It has a very high fire rate, coupled with low Impact. It is useful in the Crucible, and can replace the Shingen-E at level 20. The Doctor is available through the Vanguard once the player reaches Vanguard Level 3. One of the more interesting aspects of note for the Doctor Nope is the weapon's magazine size, 72. The rounds, meanwhile, have very low impact to counter its high rate of fire. Stability is moderate to low, which makes this weapon more of the "spray-and-pray" variety, but if a player aims at the target's knees and then walks the spray slowly upwards, it can be effective nonetheless.
Trivia
The weapon's name and description appear to reference Dr No and the Hippocratic Oath respectively. It is also a favored weapon of Helmhammerhand2.
