Destiny 3's first expansion The Voided Genesis takes place after Destiny 3 and explores the Taken's unity under various new villains, including Tech E. Coyote, Throneseeker of Oryx; Eto Yoshimura, Fragment of Evie; Nasira, Sister of Jafar; and Maleficent, Mistress of Evil and their crusade to bring killed enemies from death via Taken technology and kill Mal. The Voided Genesis takes place at The Altar of Oryx on the Dreadnaught, The Forbidden Mountains on Earth, Ocean of Storms on the Moon, and Outside Time. Eris Morn returns to help The Guardian track down Maleficent and her forces along with Sloane and Petra Venj.
