The Spawn of Crota are a Hive sect devoted directly to the Hive god Crota, Son of Oryx and spawned under his consort Omnigul, Will of Crota. Seeking to complete his will by conquering Earth, they also supervise the Swarm Princes, the leadership of Hidden Swarm, through their general Sardon, Fist of Crota. They operate from within the Hellmouth in the vanilla campaign, but play a much bigger role in The Dark Below as they increase their activities on Earth, including the attempted revival of their master.. Through the efforts of a vengful Eris Morn however, they are ultimately decimated by the Guardians and their god dealt a fatal blow within his own throne world. They are identified by their yellow coloring.
