While the Guardian and the Cloud Striders [[Rohan]] and [[Nimbus]] would move in to wipe out the Shadow Legion fortifications around the Veil Containment area and destroy the Radial Mast, Caiatl and her forces would keep the skies clear and prevent Shadow Legion reinforcements from arriving. Nimbus theorized that the Shadow Legion were using the Taken to infiltrate the CloudArk and gain access to the Veil. With the situation clear, the Guardian was dispatched to stop the threat. However, As the Gaurdian moved through the Vex Network under the guidance of Nimbus, Caital and the Gaurdian both began to hear a "Mysterious Voice." The same voice that was haunting the citizens of Neomuna. Caital explained that the voice felt too similiar to the Nightmare's encountered on The Derelict Leviathan. The Empress agreed that this new threat was something that needed to be confronted. But first, they needed to stop the Taken's attempt to weaken The Veil. After the Guardian delt with the source of the Taken Corruption, [[Parthenios, Drifting Mind]], Caital asked the Gaurdian to return back to the city and their final preparations for Calus' upcoming assult.
