Following the Coalition uniting against the Witness yet failing to prevent it from acquiring the Traveler to create a gateway upon it, the Guardians proved unable to follow to prevent the Witness from enacting the Final Shape. However, following the Skirmish on Titan, the Guardians would learn from the rouge Worm [[Ahsa]], that the only entity that may know a way to pass through the gateway is Savathûn herself. This puts the Coalition in a precarious situation: if they want to follow the Witness, they have to allow Immaru to revive the Witch Queen, bringing back one of the Coalition's most devious of foes. Believing they have little to no other choice, Zavala begins to consider the plan to revive Savathûn but the Guardian, Lord Saladin and Saint-14 object, citing that bringing back the Witch Queen would be a huge mistake. In addition, both point out that Immaru won't be fooled into a trap. Zavala however, states that they will instead bargain with Immaru, he gets his Lightbearer back and the Coalition get the means to enter the Gateway. Further, Zavala states that both Ikora and Eris Morn have proposed a method to keep the Witch Queen imprisoned. Still wary, both Titans and the Guardian agree to the plan nonetheless.
