It's main perks are geared around instantly reloading whatever secondary weapon is equipped after a kill, especially the legendary sidearm [[Drang]], which does the same for Sturm. Therefore, Sturm is the first exotic weapon geared towards synergizing with another weapon.

Sturm is aquired in the [[Relics of the Golden Age]] ~~quest~~. This quest becomes available after completing ~~the~~ Red War ~~campaign~~ and the World Quest on [[Nessus]]. However, the quest is currently bugged and Sturm cannot be obtained: the player can no longer keep an Exotic Engram in their inventory and decrypt it at a [[Cryptarch]], which is required to progress forward.
