Nightfall Activities are high-level endgame activites designed to be played after reaching level 20. The rewards for Nightfall activities are high-end loot.

Nightfall activities come in two different varieties: Daily, and Weekly.[1]

Daily Story Missions

Daily Story Missions are the easier of the nightfall activities. Each day a different story mission is picked and comes in a higher difficulty level than normal. Each activity can only be played once a day.[1]

Weekly Missions

Weekly Nightfall Missions are more difficult and require planning. They can only be played once a week, and come with certain modifiers. For example, arc damage may be nerfed, encouraging players to alter their loadout.[1]
