Nirwen was a Warlock and a member of the Iron Wolves. They were present, and presumably fell during the Battle of Site-6, a harrowing conflict in the Plaguelands that saw the end of the Iron Wolves, and the near-extinction of the Iron Lords. At some point prior to Nirwen's demise, the notorious Warlock Osiris studied under the tutelage of both them and Felwinter[2]. In spite of their death, Lord Saladin Forge commemorates their life through the Iron Banner. Rewarding Guardians with two different weapons and a Warlock Bond ornament in the fallen's namesake, one is a Pulse Rifle with an exceptional reload speed and stability rating[3], and the other is a burst-fire sidearm commissioned by SUROS.
