Vanguards are elite Guardians who coordinate City defense. Vanguards sell armor specific to their class, as well as offer rewards for completed missions.[1]
Vanguards also sell Vangaurd armor, a level 20 legendary-quality set of armor that can only be bought with Vanguard Marks. Marks can be acquired either by selling materials to the Crucible Quartermaster, or by completing Vanguard bounties.
