The Slap Rifle is a light infantry directed-energy weapon utilized by the Vex. [1]
Overview
Analysis suggests the Slap Rifle may be a terminal of sorts, drawing bolts of Solar energy from somewhere (or somewhen) else before pointing it at a target. In non-combat conditions, however, the Slap Rifle seems to serve as a viable field transmitter, construction tool, navigational beacon, network repeater, or any of a number of other utility functions. [2] It is most commonly wielded by Goblins. [3]
