History

The Awoken have incorporated Vesta into the Vestian Web, the heart of Awoken civilization in the Reef and from where Queen Mara Sov rules her domain. Just outside the Vestian Web lies the Vestian Outpost, a space station built from a Fallen Ketch and the asteroid 5560 Amytis, where outsiders are permitted to enter the Awoken realm. The Prison of Elders is located nearby.

During the Guardian's quest to find and destroy the Black Heart, they travelled to the Reef and were escorted to the Queen's throne room in the Vestian Web, and told to retrieve the eye of a Vex Gate Lord. When the Guardian returned, successful, Prince Uldren informed them that the eye is too damaged to use; however, the Queen allowed them keep the eye as a gift and token of condolence for the Traveler.[1]

Trivia
