Obtainable from Competitive Spirit Book rank 7 during The Dawning. Use Xûr's Tag to open Xûr's Gift to receive the mission Tattered Schematic, that unlocks this quest.

Ikora says the schematic is for the Nova Mortis, a gun designed by the Titan who created the Thunderlord.
- "Now this is unusual. Last I heard, all records of the Nova Mortis were lost in the retreat from the Moon. Heard some rumors about the Fallen trying to make something like it during Skolas's time, but I don't think they ever figured it out.
