- "The design. This is all they have, these Praetorians. A single pattern of though and logic. And everything must conform to that pattern, or be cut away. They see their survival as being achieved only through the subjugation of the universe itself."
OS-I
- "Many died in the Cyberlands, hunting the secrets of our enemies. But their sacrifices were not in vain. The data they gathered still holds within information hubs scattered across the wastes. Gathering them all is essential to unlocking the mysteries of the Praetorians."

OS-I: 11:0 — Precursors A distant galaxy. Hundreds of star systems stretch across the darkness like a giant tapestry, woven from the harsh light of unfamiliar and distant suns. One such star system hosts a saurian-like species who eventually built a sophisticated, starfaring civilization, spanning all of the twelve planets orbiting a binary star. They are precursors of the distant past. They are the Primeval. OS-I: 21:2 — fall of the Primeval Behold the sky. The blazing glory of its twin suns illuminates the battle lines of colossal warships, battling a titanic war across the stars. The Sivian invaded this system attempting to conquer the Primeval. But as their fleets reached the heliopause frontier, Primeval perimeter militias met them in battle and stalled their advance for many cycles. In response, the Sivian began deploying biopathogenic weapons to blight the Primeval worlds, which became tainted with death. Their civilization ravaged, the Primeval would survive by turning to new bodies in the form of machines called the Cognitive. OS-I: 31:3 — Primeval Cognitive After their transition to machine forms, the Primeval manifested warrior units called Praetorians. They fought the Sivian Forward Armada with algorithms and calculations - adapting and improving and mapping behavioral responses. Soon they had built a victory condition for every possible end state of the war. Thus the Sivian were defeated. And they fled. OS-I: 41:5 — Architects Then the Primeval Cognitive resolved to build a perfect, undying civilization, and set out to remake the world in a form suitable to its survival. Hence, their diaspora across the cosmos began. OS-I: 5[[File:|right|150px]] 1:6 — the solar system OS-I: 6[[File:|right|150px]] 1:7 — cataclysm
