Keit'Ehr was the first attempt by the [[The Witness| Witness]] to create [[Dread]] using the [[Light]] within the [[The Traveler|Traveler]]'s [[The Pale Heart|Pale Heart]] in combination with its own Resonant [[Darkness]]. Shaped to resemble a [[Lubraean]], like the Witness' first Disciple Rhulk, the resulting being was too weak to move and remained dormant following its creation. The Witness abandoned it as a failure, but not before giving it a name and instructing it to seek them out should it manage to survive, claiming that they would be recognized for their strength if they did so.  

From their resting place, Keit'Ehr would watch the creation of the other Dread and the [[Excision|death]] of the Witness.
