Desolation is an expansive, frozen waste spanning from the Eventide Colony to the buried Deep Stone Crypt. It is here where the Fallen of the House of Salvation began their efforts searching for the crypt, placing heat shelters in case of blizzards for oncoming research and excavation crews. During the Raid, Guardians brave the storm and cross the frozen and Fallen occupied wastes in search of the crypt and the Fallen who seek it.
