Captain Masoud Jacobson was the captain of the Exodus Black colonization ship. He and several surviving crew members of the Exodus Black became stranded on Nessus after their ship crash-landed on the rogue Centuar, but were experimented on and eventually killed by the Vex. He was honored in spirit when Failsafe names a Nessian frog the Guardian uncovered while attempting to uncover the Conductor's plans
