Lacerated Abominations are a common Major variant of the Scorn Abomination. They were first encountered in the Sunken Pyramid and Court of Savathûn.[1][2]
Gameplay
Lacerated Abominations don't look different than regular Abominations other than their slightly larger size. They have high durability by virtue of being Majors, but no other special abilities, and can be killed by volume of fire. The ones in the Pyramid don't move from their starting spot, barring the way of players trying to deposit their Emanating Force in the Raid's final encounter, or holding shut a door The Guardian needs to pass through in Preservation. They also appear outside of the Pyramid, as part of the Resonant Destruction Public Event and the Birthplace of the Vile Strike.
