The Gorgons' Labyrinth is the location deep within the Vault of Glass on Venus, in which nests the Gorgons.[1] It was later used as the capitol of the Taken invasion after the defeat of Oryx, the Taken King.[2]

Overview

Vault of Glass

In the Vault of Glass raid the Gorgons' Labyrinth requires the raid team to traverse through the cavern without being spotted the harpies known as Gorgons that guard the way into the deeper part of the vault. Once passed, the Guardians will enter the jumping puzzle of the raid.

Paradox

The Labyrinth makes a return in the Paradox Mission in The Taken King expansion, where Oryx from his Throne World orders Morphon, Blighted Mind and its followers to attack the Vault of Glass to seize its powers for Oryx's use. While this is happening a distress signal from Praedyth reaches Ikora Rey from the Vault of Glass and is tracked to the Labyrinth, where Morphon commands its forces. Once Morphon is destroyed it's revealed that Praedyth has been long dead and the signal was centuries old but was used by the Vex to draw the Guardians' attention to the Vault and destroy Morphon and its Taken forces in their search for Praedyth, which they did. As what could be seen as a thanks for assisting them, the Vex gifted Praedyth's remains to the Guardian.
