Nightmare Shanks are Nightmares that appear throught the Sol System.
Gameplay
Nightmare Shanks appear in activities featuring Nightmares and Fallen. They often manifest in pairs, in support of more powerful Nightmares, like the Nightmare of Taniks, the Scarred[1], in Lost Sectors as guards for the final boss[2], or escorting VIP Nightmares[3]. While they can be dangerous if ignored, defeating them rewards the players with Unstable Essence they can use to increase the damage they deal to other Nightmares.
