Fantis, Oppressive Mind was a powerful Vex Minotaur that served as the final boss of the Expunge: Labyrinth Mission. It also governed over the Labyrinth domain and maintained the Endless Night through its subroutines.[1]
The Minotaur was later brought back by Quria, Blade Transform, after being destroyed by the Guardian. It was encountered once again in Expunge: Corrupted Labyrinth, under the name Fantis, Oppressive Mind Reborn, where it finally met its end.[2]
Gameplay
After taking a small amount of damage, Fantis will create an immunity shield. Players must kill the two Nexus Guardians that spawn to take their Data Spikes and deposit them in the Terminals located outside the main arena in order to lower the Minotaur's shield. Once this is done, Fantis will not summon any more immunity shields throughout the fight, and continue will to attack like a regular Ultra Minotaur until it is destroyed.
In the Corrupted version of the mission, it is capable of summoning Taken as well as Vex.
