The House of Rain is a Fallen House. Its members prophesied that a Fallen warrior, whose enemies would "flee or fall", would one day rise to "heal the Houses and make them whole".[1] The House was destroyed by the Whirlwind that destroyed the Fallen civilization.
Prophecy
"Before him, foes will flee or fall. But he will heal the houses, make them whole." [2]
"The Great Machine will marvel, moved by might, and come to crown him Kell of Kells." [3]
"What Whirlwind whisked away will be rewrought, and every Kell and Ketch will kneel to the Kell of Kells."[4]
