Rhulk, Disciple of the Witness is one of the Disciples; extraordinarily powerful Darkness-wielding beings from multiple species who collectively follow and do the bidding of the Witness. Hailing from the planet Lubrae, he commanded one of the Pyramids of the Black Fleet, having been most recently sent to Savathûn's Throne World to assist the Witch Queen by spawning Worms for her Hive. After Savathûn's rebirth in the Light, he was imprisoned within his own Pyramid by a curse of Light cast by the Witch Queen. He is the final boss of the Vow of the Disciple Raid.
Biography

Rhulk was born on the planet Lubrae, a civilization blessed by the Traveler at one point, but fell to a militarist dictatorship after it left. When The Witness arrived there, the planet was already fracturing as one of its supposed moons was being destroyed. Rhulk would be betrayed by his family, as they didn’t follow his race’s ideology and fell into an existential crisis. When The Witness arrived to the collapsing planet, he would take in the troubled warrior and made him into a disciple, after that he would then subjugate the Worms and their Worm Gods into serving the Darkness. Not much is known after the event, but at some point he would end up in Savathûn's Throne World, assisting Savathûn, the Witch Queen in the production of Worms for her brood. After her claim of light, he would be trapped within a Sunken Pyramid, blocked off from the rest of the realm thanks to her usage on the Wellspring. After Savathûn’s defeat by the hands of The Guardian, whom was attempting to free the Traveler, along with numerous raids on the Wellspring by both the Guardians and the Scorn, the spell that once trapped Rhulk would begin to fade. Eventually it would finally break as the Guardians had attempted to investigate the sunken Pyramid and was greeted by the Disciple, and would give tasks and challenges to the Guardians as they boarded the ship. After they reached him, he would see no use in them anymore and tried to eliminate them, resulting in a climatic battle, though it was a not easy task, they would finally bring down and kill the Disciple.
Personality and Traits

Rhulk seems to be completely devoted to the darkness and even despises the guardians for the usage of darkness. He is mildly egotistical thinking he is above all who oppose him and even taunts the guardians while fighting him. It seems like while in the pyramid he befriended the worm familiars and the worm god, being the one who would have to create the worms for Savathün’s brood. He seems to like experimenting with the worm familiars as well as in the acquisition part of the raid you can see frozen scorn/fallen in containers with worms attached to them. These experiments may have failed.
