Asbel, Far from Home was a Hive Ogre seen in the European Aerial Zone, where it served as a Hive Siege Engine within the area. Assuming by name, it was once an Ogre for the Grasp of Nokris before disappearing to the EAZ.
Gameplay
Much like Nur Abath, Crest of Xol, when an enemy enters its aura, it gained a shield which made it impervious to all damage; so it was imperative that the Fireteam eliminate any Hive opponent within the aura to deal damage to the Ogre. Apart from this mechanic, Asbel behaved like any other Ogre by blasting enemies with its Eye Blasts, repeatedly and hastily moving to get better angles at these targets before slamming the ground if anyone came within range. Once killed, it contributed a chest for the treasure hunt encounter at the end of the European Aerial Zone activity.
