The Spine of Keres is a location in the Dreaming City that features the tower that houses the Oracle Engine, as well as an entrance to the Confluence. It used to serve as a place for Techeuns to meditate and train,[1] and the coven mother Illyn often took her trainees here to remember the old epics.[2] The place houses various relics, like an ansible lens used to communicate between Awoken cities,[3] model of a dual-ringed planet,[4] and mysterious map conjured by Mara Sov.[5] It is also the location of a summoning spire, where the Techeuns would call the Harbingers.[6]
