The Hezen Corrective is one of the Vex programming collectives, primarily situated on Venus. The Hezen Corrective can be identified by their plain brass bodies.[1]
History
The Hezen Corrective might look normal but it is very different from the other Vex collectives due to its behaviors and objectives. They are the most common Vex subtype found around the Ishtar Sink. They can be found attacking Fallen from the House of Winter, the Fallen house on Venus. They can also be found operating confluxes and hold interest in the Golden Age technology found throughout the Ishtar Campus. The bulk of Vex contact on Venus is usually from them. Many scholars believe that these Vex are meant to solve problems for the Vex Network. Others believe they are merely a distraction used to draw attention away from Hezen Protective.
Structure
The Hezen Corrective's chief goal on the planet is to seek out and destroy the House of Winter's presence there (having attempted an invasion of the Fallen lair during Winter's Run). The Corrective, for reasons unknown, has also taken an interest in studying Golden Age technology and that they are involved in occupying areas to make them more suitable for Vex operations. It is also implied that they may even be a strategic ploy - acting as a distraction for the activities of the Hezen Protective.[2]
