The Taken King is an upcoming expansion for Destiny. It will be released on September 15, 2015, and be priced at $40.[1]
The expansion's story centers around Oryx and his quest for revenge, after the Guardians had slain his son Crota. He has brought a massive Dreadnought into the system and has launched an invasion using his personal army, the Taken.[2]
The expansion will be showcased at E3 2015.[3]
Features
- New Location: The Hive Dreadnought orbiting Saturn.[2]
- Subclasses: One for each core class.
- Elemental Abilities: Electrical storm (Warlock), gravity bow (Hunter), flaming hammer (Titan)
- New Strikes
