- "A rune that grows in power as you summon and banish enemies with Stolen Runes in the Court of Oryx. Once charged, it can summon more powerful enemy."
- — Item description
An Antiquated Rune is a Consumable item in Destiny. It is used to summon Tier 3 bosses in the Court of Oryx.
Gameplay
An Antiquated Rune is used to trigger Tier 3 boss events in the Court of Oryx. Before it can be used, it needs to be charged by killing Tier 2 level bosses summoned by using Stolen Runes. A total of three Court of Oryx Tier 2 events must be completed before it is fully charged. Antiquated Runes can be acquired from the Court of Oryx, Crota's Bane Reputation Packages of Rank 5 and higher, King's Fall Raid and from Eris Morn in the Tower.
Tier 3 Bosses
Trivia
The Item description reads "more powerful enemy" instead of "more powerful enemies". This is a developer mistake.
