Barons are high-ranking Fallen who command individual Skiffs and their respective crews. They outrank Captains, who only lead a group of Fallen, but obey orders from their House's Archon, Kell, and Prime Servitor.[1]
Barons are a variant of the standard Fallen Captain. While they lack any unique weapons or abilities, Barons possess stronger shields and yellow health bars, and can usually be found guarding an important objective or leading a Fallen assault in story missions and strikes.[1]
