Jupiter is the fifth and largest planet in the Solar System, with several dozen "Jovian" moons. One of the moons, Europa, once had a human colony on it, but lost it during the Collapse. Now abandoned cities are all that remain. [1] The survivors, however, appear to have been radically changed. After the collapsed, Jupiter (and possibly the other outer worlds) is governed by the Nine. The Nine seem to be interested in Human civilization and the Traveler, so they sent Xûr, Agent of the Nine, as their emissary.[2]
