Cabal Oil is a multi-purpose hydrostatic organogel used in Cabal technology.
Overview
It is composed of many unidentified chemicals, and is potentially toxic to non-Cabal.[1] Cabal oil fuels ships, runs through armor as "pressure gel" insulating them from uninhabitable (to Cabal) environments,[2] manipulates the effects of gravity on their vehicles and soldiers, and contains pathways for data transmission. It can easily be seen venting from armor when a Cabal or War Beast is killed with a headshot. Due to how valuable the oil is to the Cabal's troops and vehicles, the Warlock Asher Mir, saw a weakness to exploit. With some tampering, the Cabal oil would quickly cause the Cabal's vehicles to malfunction, sowing chaos within the Red Legion's armed forces.[3] It also toughens and thickens anything that it comes into contact with.[4]
