You encounter Rahndel in the optional mission ''Legends Never Die'' after you beat the Rise of the Kell campaign in a new area called the Kell's Watch which is located in the throne room of the ship [[Splicership Menkis-Syn]]. He is sitting on the throne and is immune until you enter the room and the encounter begins. Rahndel will get off the throne and start firing at the player with his Shrapnel Launcher and will summon [[Kell's Guard]] along with other, lesser Fallen to aid him. Occasionally, Rahndel will start rapidly teleporting towards the player akin to a [[Minotaur]] and once he reaches them, Rahndel with either use his temporal shockwave or will grab the player and throw in across the room. When Rahndel reaches barely no health he will retreat back to his throne and the fight ends and a cutscene begins. Rahndel sits back down wounded and grabs a [[Shock Pistol]], says something in Eliskni, and shoots his own head off, ending his own legend forever.
