Pinar Venj was an Awoken Coven Leader of the Techeun Witches of Amethyst and sister of Petra Venj. She was killed when Drevis, Wolf Baroness and her Silent Fang attacked the station.[2]
Biography[edit]
- "Part of me wishes I had finished my training as a Techeun. If I had, maybe I could still find Pinar out there, in a dream somewhere.[3]"
- — Petra Venj
Pinar grew up on Amethyst beside her sisters, one of which was Petra Venj.[4][5] At one point Petra entered training to become a Techeun and Pinar followed suit. The sisters began having entire conversations in their dreams, a shared experience which quickly became a nightmare for Petra as Pinar grew more and more powerful, learning to manipulate the dream, and her sister couldn't keep up. Moreover, Petra felt inferior because of Techeun Imar's negative attitude towards her while favoring Pinar. Eventually Petra quit the training and went on to become a Corsair, and their shared dreams stopped.[3] Pinar, however, finished it and was at some point appointed the Coven Leader.
Pinar and all her sisters excluding Petra died in the Raze of Amethyst during the Reef Wars, when the Silent Fang attacked the station. Griefstricken, Petra sought vengeance, fighting the House of Wolves in the Hildian Campaign, and during the Wolf Rebellion, tasked The Guardian with finishing off the baroness Drevis who had led the attack on Amethyst.[5] Later in life Petra regretted quitting her Techeun training, if only for the possibility of being able to still find Pinar somewhere in her dreams.[3]
