Taken Polyp is an object found and collected from Taken Wizards in Summoner's Circle. Based off in-game dialogue these objects are used to infuse beings with Taken power without actually Taking them, since that is what the Hive were attempting to accomplish with the Ogre named The Infantine.[1]
