Hello everybody. I have thoughts about the Wanted Pages. As you know, it's a mess. There are so many pages that are non-existent. Some of them are irrelevant and can probably be removed, and some are supposed to link to something existent but the link is spelled incorrectly. Is there anything we can do to clean up inaccurate and irrelevant links? If we'd get rid of them, it would be much easier for editors to pick an article to create. <br>
Tell me what you think about this and if there is any solution to it. Leoasken72 (talk) 13:17, 3 March 2018 (EST)

Need a Proper Main Page

I think we need a proper Main Page that will list all the Factions, Vehicles, Species, Classes. Maybe something similar to what Halopedia has. Sgtfrankieboy (talk) 21:11, 17 February 2013 (EST)

Is there anything more we can put on this page so that it's long enough for the recent edits to show up? I can't be the only one annoyed by having to click on the first page long enough for it. Always use the DMR. This is craZboy557, signing off. 14:54, 16 May 2013 (EDT)

I recommend just bookmarking the recent changes page instead of the main page. --Porplemontage (talk) 19:25, 16 May 2013 (EDT)

Templates

I'm not sure if this is the right place, but, I believe that we should have a species template as well as a weapons template, like the ones they have at halopedia. IDK just food for thought...

JHWRAITHSHOT I have but one thing to say... Can it shoot FIRE? 00:17, 18 June 2013 (EDT)

I agree. --Porplemontage (talk) 15:19, 18 June 2013 (EDT)

Variants

I mentioned this in another article, but because this seems to apply to a lot of different things, I'll post it here. It seems that Destiny is going to have a lot of variants of base weapons, armor, and enemies, and I don't believe they all deserve individual articles unless said variant is extremely unique. Instead, I recommend listing all variants on one page. For example, Hive Knight would also include Chosen Knight and Hallowed Knight, since both are basically harder versions of the original with no other noticable distinctions. A table comparing their different stats should be sufficient. For existing articles I would just replace them with redirects to the main article's page. OmgHAX! (talk) 12:24, 1 July 2014 (EDT)

Agree. Most of enemy variants(except Stealth Vandal and Cursed Thrall)'s difference with the originals is just their health and strength.(Just like Fallout3&NV enemies) We need to conjoin the articles. The primodial (talk) 2 July 2014 (EDT)

Community Update

I'm looking forward to getting the upcoming third expansion pack "The Taken King" for Destiny, which is coming out in September 15, so on the main page, should there be an announcement about the third expansion pack on Community Updates?

Also, on Community Updates, the latest information says:

"Second Expansion — New information incoming! The House of Wolves expansion was released on May 19, 2015."

Now that it's August, I don't think it should say "New information incoming!", as now, it isn't new information. So maybe someone could edit that bit out? Dark Nightwatcher (talk) 13:10, 23 August 2015 (EDT)

Suggestion

As per above, I would suggest giving the Main Page sysop-only protection, as we do on Halopedia. Since it's a high-traffic page, it's a good preventative measure against vandalism.--Spartacus TalkContribs 15:02, 4 January 2016 (EST)

Platforms

Rather than having the information spread out and because these articles aren't very notable on their own, what if we merged all our articles about consoles (Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Live, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Network) into a "Platforms" article? There we could detail Destiny's differences between each console and merely redirect the above articles to the new one.--Spartacus TalkContribs 18:25, 6 March 2017 (EST)

I wholly agree, especially if the rumours are true about Destiny 2 coming to PC gaming. It would be cleaner and more comprehensive. --stickΔαντε τηε Γηοστ Ι ωονδερ ιφ Ικορα γιϝες ηυγς το Γηοστσ. Ηεη... ανψωαψς, νιξε ωορκ. Τηις ις ωηατ Ι υσεδ. 18:33, 6 March 2017 (EST)
