:That's exactly what I thought after learning that those particular Fallen were called the House of Devils. It makes sense that each House would have their own name for their particular variant of Spider Tank. Guess we'll have to keep our eyes peeled for other references to other Houses' walkers{{User:DJenser/sig}} 14:55, 12 August 2013 (EDT)

:I'm sure Bungie derived its inspiration from many existing designs. Ghost in the Shell's spider tanks and Star Wars's [https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/All_Terrain_Tactical_Enforcer ATTE] walker easily come to mind for many people.
:A trivia bullet from the Fallen page states "Their mechanized vehicle units carry overtones of Japanese mecha, and their ships appear like rusted futuristic submarines"

That's exactly what I thought after learning that those particular Fallen were called the House of Devils.
