Light-Eater Ogres are Taken Ogres that appears as a unique enemy in the King's Fall Raid on Normal Mode, alongside with Light-Eater Knights on Hard. They make a return in Season of Plunder with the return of King's Fall.

Gameplay[edit]

Light-Eater Ogres spawn soon after Oryx, the Taken King slams a plate with his fist and spawning a brand, each emerging from pools by the plates immediately after the respective plate is activated by a Guardian standing on it. When killed, they leave behind a blight that must be detonated after Oryx is staggered to prevent him from regaining health. If Light-Eater Ogres are left alive for long enough, they activate rage and begin to chase down the closest Guardian to them that they can reach.

Trivia[edit]

  • Light-Eater Ogres are the only Taken Ogres, beside Baxx, Hand of Oryx, that has a red body part of some sort.
