Distributed Cognition Domain is a location within the Vex Network. The labyrinth-like domain acts as a corridor to other domains within the Nexus.
These domains are governed by the Oppressive Minds, Fantis, Dikast, and Dimio. Their subroutines channel a river of Vex code to flow through a hub to maintain the Endless Night. Its architect manages the flow of programming directives by routing them to domains where old codes and abandoned terraforming projects were eradicated.
Following the defeat of the Oppressive Minds, their domains were prevented from collapse by a Taken incursion which infected the domains. The Minds were "Reborn" and corrupted by the Vex Hydra, Quria, Blade Transform.
This location is accessible through weekly Expunge missions.
