The Aphix Tactician is an Ultra Vex Hobgoblin of the Aphix Invasive. The Hobgoblin and its cohorts were initially stationed on Venus as a defensive against the forces of the Red Legion, but both were eventually captured by the forces of the Weavers of Sorrow and detained within the Nephilim's Subjugated Vault. They would eventually be put down by a fireteam of Guardians, seeking to end the suffering brought onto them by Shin'ra and his Hive.
